Messaging is everything. Your website. Your ads. Even that throwaway line on your ‘About Us’ page. Every word whispers (or shouts) something to your audience
Dave Chappelle doesn’t drop new jokes on Netflix. First, he bombs in tiny clubs. Low stakes. Cheap feedback. By the time he hits the big stage? Every line is gold.
Messaging works the same way. I write dozens of variations. But until I put them in front of real people, they’re just guesses.
Below is a session with Superpower —brainstorming messaging angles. AI helps with the first draft, but the real magic happens in the refinements.
Most brands waste a fortune testing bad messaging. Newsletters. Influencers. $5K, $50K, sometimes millions—just to get muddy data. Did the messaging work? Who knows. Too many variables.
I test on Facebook - low stakes & predictable. 20-50k people see my message and I track the clicks. Every test is controlled: same audience, same message. Just different words.
One message gets 5% CTR. Another? 0.5%. Easy decision.
I’ve worked with dozens of teams. Almost none of them do this. Wild.
Mispriced Eyeballs
Next, find mispriced eyeballs. Growth is just audience arbitrage. Somewhere, there’s an influencer with your exact audience. 10,000 followers. Cheap sponsorships.
Use this to scale the message you have tested over and over again.
Growth is simple.

2️⃣ Find mispriced eyeballs—cheap, relevant, untapped.
Nail both, and you’ve got a winner.
